If God, Jesus, Moses and the Pope formed a band they couldn't even match Tool's greatness. I will let the Pilon Brothers to fill you in on the rest, I don't want you to hear the same story three times, four if you read Rob's blog. After arriving in Regina at 8:30 this morning, I drove to my brothers' apartment where I will be waiting for Jared to get off of work at 4:30. We left Calgary at around 11:30PM on Thursday, the trip there and back was pretty uneventful besides the many gay jokes, your mom jokes and sibling.. love? it was just a normal car ride.

The first night we drove about 7 hours then stopped in Brooks to set up camp. The next day we completed the trip to Calgary and went to the Calgary Zoo, like most trips to the zoo the animals usually don't do to much seeing as most lay around during the day. Zoo life might have made them lazier then being out in the wild, but for some animals there it is to perserve their dying species. I find I am in a hate and love relationship with zoos, they mean well by giving endangered animals a place to mate without the fear of having the species die out completely, not that they are the only places that do that. But the animals get to be gawked at by every hillbilly and slack jodd yokely in town and they slowly lose their sense of survival of the fittest mode of living. Yes, I know I was one of them, and yes some of my pictures were pretty good, but they shouldn't be on show like they were slaves for our enjoyment. Alright, maybe I am giving zoos too little credit, they do help animals, they do give them clear natural environments to live in, pretty much anything a wild animal could need plus more and all these things need to be paid for, why not help them care/ show off slave animals for your entertainment. Like I said, I don't know where I stand on the issue.

Oh ya, I guess we almost ran out of gas around Moose Jaw and the trunk stopped closing but both were avoided by Rob's preperations (he's like Batman that way) and Pilot's mad driving skills.

TOOL!

I just finished checking my car out for the road trip to Regina, I'll tell ya she ain't much to look at but she can still get me from point A to point B. If there was a time for me to go to point C, I would be royally screwed though. The reason for this trip to Regina , as some of you have guessed from the title, is to catch a ride from Rob Hillstead to go see TOOL! I would like to take this time to thank Rob for letting Andrew and I catch a ride up to Calgary, without him... I am not too sure what we would be doing to get to Tool.

On Monday I went down to the Gas Bar to grab some change for one of my co-workers. Kevin, my current boss, shows up on his motorcycle ans asks if I could get him some coffee from Tim Hortins seeing as he couldn't get it while he was on his motorcycle. So I bought the coffee with his money and brought it back to him. When I got back to the G bar some other guy was there, he looks at me and tells me to go into his truck and get his coffee so Kevin and him can drink together. I thought to myself, who the hell is this guy to tell me what to do? I leave and come back for my shift at 6 (it was 1:30 the first time I was there), turns out the guy who wanted his coffee was "my new boss". I have it in quotes because he doesn't take control till I quit, which will be on Sunday.

Break out your helmets, because Tony Jaa is coming to Theaters!

Tony Jaa (Panom Yeerum) has been making a name for himself as the ultimate action hero. As a child he would watch Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li movies and mimic their style of fighting. When washing his family elephant he would try doing back flips off the elephant into the water. His movies don't include any wire work or computer graphics (besides to make dramatic explosions). So when you see someone getting kneed off a motorcycle and having the helmet break, that was Tony Jaa being freaking amazing. So really the helmet I told you to break out wouldn't help anyways. To the point, on August 25th 2006 the Galaxy theater will be showing Tony Jaa's latest and greatest movie, The Protector(US)/Warrior King(UK)/Tom Yung Goong(thailand)/...Honour of the Dragon?(EU). I recommend that you pick up his first film Ong-Bak before you see this movie because the first one was tame compared to his second film.

Tony Jaa score 299 of out of 300 which is the number of henchmen that Tony Jaa crippled during this movie.

Fine! Anyways I am pretty much the assistant manager at the Gas Bar, not that I do too much more then before. I do get a raise and more hours so all is good, but I still have to teach the newer co-workers how to do everything correctly seeing as the last manager didn't teach everything to everyone. After we all get on the same page I hope it will run a bit smoother.

Yesterday, being the 19th of June, was donate blood day in Weyburn. So, like a caring person who doesn't have a tattoo I went to give blood. I pass the iron test, which went pretty slow because they only had one nurse doing it. I filled out the paper and sat down to see the temp./ pulse checking nurse. I could tell the nurse I got didn't give a rat's ass if I gave blood or not. The result was that my pulse was too high and my temperature was .2 over the limit. So, let me see this is the 4th time that this has happened? I believe the blood God obviously doesn't want my blood. Not that my blood is the most rare blood out there, being AB positive the universal accepter. Blah blah spent too much money blah blah and watched a movie, you know the usual. After spending so much money, I went out to buy a SD card reader which I have been putting off for months. So I have been shipping crap from my parent's computer to my new good computer. I had to get this reader because it turns out upgrading my computer was the worst way to go, seeing that my burner and sound cards aren't supported by XP. Oh well, it was cheap and I didn't need much more then the space on my camera's SD card anyways. I am also planning on reducing what I spend by half, I know I say that almost every update but this time I want to get back to where I was before the Regina trip. It's not like anyone REALLY needs the stuff we buy anyways.

A few days ago, I was getting smokes for the Gasbar like I always do. Going into the back of the Wholesale to get my stuff ready, when Lawrence asks me if I was full time at the Gas Bar. After saying no, he offers me a job shipping and receiving. I was a bit taken back by him asking me, so I didn't really ask for the details all I know was that it was at 3 in the morning. If they job is anything like the Wal-mart job I assume it would be from 3 - 11. I am barely able to get up for the Gasbar at 6, I don't think I would be able to get up 3 hours earlier. Oh well, now I have 3 jobs that could jump to... I'll leave you in the dark about the other 2 for now.

Blood Bath

YES! Either way, my tempertature was good, but I had to wait a bit while my pulse slowed down. All in all it was a good day to give blood, if you haven't already they are having a clinic tonight at Assiniboia school. Drop by for a blood sucking, I mean a voluntary blood donation. I assume I am turning into an elf, you know, only needing 4 hours of meditation... well it was more like 6 but I am getting closer. All I need now is to get come pointy ears and start living forever, I think I can become a full elf in about 4 years.... screw that I want my +2 to dex rolls now!

Ok.... on to my next point, it turns out the windows at the gas bar were actually inscribed with the triforce. I cleaned the corners of every pane of glass and there it was, the three triangles of the triforce. Yes, I have found the magic glass of Hyrule, and no it isn't for sale.

I find it fun how I use so many lame jokes on a blog entry that I have some actually important to say, well, I bet you are all dying for me to tell you about the title? I guess I could tell you, but I was going to save it for another entry... Alright, fine, you talked me into it. I get back to work for the second half of my shift and my boss hands me a layoff notice! I was all like shit, but then I read it. Derek is forced to close all three of his stores in the mall because of poor support from the town. I had mixed feelings about this, for one I didn't care for working at The Source, but that 8 to 12 hours less that goes on my pay check. I believe the reason there has been no support is because of the big company at the edge of town, Wal-mart. That is the problem here, Weyburn isn't big enough to support every business in town, people usually flock to one of them and stay there for their business. I know many people who are actually boycotting Wal-mart, but usually the city can still offer what you need. Weyburn doesnt' offer an such outlets. But I can't see a business that could help the solve this problem.

I will try to support more of the little guys in town, instead of the major monopolizing Wal-mart.

Hey,Prime Minister! Or when I want to talk about hating smokers or some generic group of people that everyone hates, but we should all be lovers instead of haters. Seeing that the hate game is stupid but everyone plays it, like The Sims in 2000.

But my real reason of blogging is to tell the world that ATI has sent me back my video card in record time. One whole week of waiting, and they give me a brand new card! So, uh even if they don't have people to talk to for technical support, they still can satisfy their customers.

I would also like this time for everyone to check out this blogger. ya, check it...out that is.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://toejamandearl1.blogspot.com/2006/03/heyprime-minister-andy.html' title='Hey,Prime Minister! (refer to So...Road Trip) Anyways, I tried to contact them again. First, by phone seems like the best way to go. I try the 4 phone number I had grabbed from awhile back, the onyl one that wasn't busy told me to go to their site and register my video card. I had to listen to a bunch of machines to get to that, no human contact what so ever. Alright, I will play your little game ATI, I went to their site. Filled out another ticket and a RMA demanding ,in a nice way, they get my video card fixed.

After going to computer solutions to see if they had a better way of contacting them and going to the barns with my uncle to feed my grandpa's horses I returned to check my e-mail. One e-mail! Success! It was a letter that sounded familiar to me, but on the bottom of it showed intructions on how to ship the vide card away to get it fixed! So I packaged it up to get it ready to ship this morning, I will have to contact a currier to get it sent away, hopefully I can do it through The Source.

Ok, so I didn't technically complete the challenge that I had stated before hand. I only lasted 2 and a half weeks, I think it was the fact that I was starting to get bored out of my mind and needed something to read, it was an EGM that I bought by the way. But it did a good job of me not buying the crap I usually do. As long as I don't start smoking I will be fine.

Sex sells, go buy some

Is anyone else annoyed with the new milk commercial? Well, it isn't that new anymore. But when a product like milk has to resort to sexy women strutting around in farmer costumes, basically saying that milk is as good as sex you better go buy some. I don't know maybe I just get mad at the commercial because it is also saying that we should throw cows into tiny stalls and fill them full of hormones to product more milk for a greedy consumer that would buy anything that had some type of sex appeal. But that said I still drink milk, yes, I am a big hypocrite. I hope to try it when I move to Regina if I am up to it. Either way these products own us because of this weakness, when we give into sex appeal we are saying we aren't strong enough to resist the temptation. But most people can't resist temptation, that is why our society is the way it is. Also smokes suck, like in that other commercial... boy, I watch too much TV.

I don't think I can be comfortable with a job, I always find a mentallity that I hate about it. For example, I hated T & C for a number of reasons, but I didn't like tat fact that I was helping transport meat for people to enjoy. It is true that the meat is already dead and I couldn't have done anything to save that animal, but I still didn't like it. At the Gasbar, I hate how I am selling smokes so people can go kill theirselves slowly, and most likely more painfully. Yes, smokes do have a positive side in some ways, but I don't believe they out weigh the bad. The Source, I am tempting people to buy stuff that they don't need, but this type of nitpicking won't get me far in this world. Seeing that as humans we desire to be tempted into doing wrong, but that doesn't mean we need to continue being played with by what the media tells us we need.

I Would like to play a Game with you.

I believe I have seen enough Saw 2 movie reviews around so I'll try not to go into the movie that much. I watched it with Steve last night, he had already seen it, but he didn't seem to mind watching it for a second time, a movie like this it sometimes helps. I liked it a lot more then the first one but, like Steve mentioned to me, it was the more low budge of the two of course (around 10 thousand?).

The only way to cheat death, according to the movie, is to create a legacy that will live forever, that is immortality. I think Jigsaw proved his point, he tried to force others to be greatful for what they have. At least what they should have, which is a survival instinct. An instinct we, as an "organized" race, have forgotten. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10.

Although I loved the movie, I hated how I lost valuble sleep tossing in bed. I just thought of some trap from the movie and it would make me toss, I did that for at least an hour at 4 o'clock in the morning before my 7 o'clock gas bar shift. It was a boring shift, but it was even harder to stay awake his time.

Ocean's 11
(and maybe 12 might be mentioned, that is if it's lucky)

I am sure everyone has seen this movie on their fancy high tech satellites, maybe even 3 times. But until my parents move into the new generation, which isn't that new anymore. Or when I move out, I will have to rent movies at the best movie rental place in town. Carrying on with the review, another great movie with George Clooney as Danny Ocean. But this time he is robbing Casinos instead of fighting the undead. The biggest casino robbery ever to be exact. I could not stop watching it, I was almost late for work, that's how captivated I was in this movie. I give it a 9 out of 10. Ocean's 12 was mostly the same, but most of the work was done behind the scenes. Less action and less cunning then the original. I give it a 6.5 out of 10.

From Dusk Till Dawn

I started this movie last night, but my couch was too comfortable so I feel asleep on it. Now, today I watched the whole movie. Robert Rodriguez was the director and like most of his films Quentin Tarantino has some kind of role in it. The story follows two brothers that escaped from prison. The brothers, Seth played by George Clooney and Richie played by Quentin Tarantino, set up a deal with Carlos to met in Mexico at the Titty Twister bar to do business. All hell brakes lose in the bas when night comes, it turns out everyone is a vampire. So, like any of Robert's films there is much gun fighting, and explosions to follow. I have to point out that Quentin does an amazing job of being George's creepy brother. Then again I don't think he had to act that much, he seems creepy all the time. I give this movie a 9 out of 10

Money, our curse

Laterly I have been throwing around money like crazy. (see Future in the making today) But money, at this stage, shouldn't be used for the next game I catch in my sight or that PSP that I have been rambling about for who knows how long, it should be a NEED instead of a want. I was just looking at phones, found one called the W600 walkman phone. It's basically a MP3 plus camera phone which got me thinking, I have a camera and I rarely listen to music so why do I NEED this phone? Even an organizer phone, I thought it would be cool to plan out my day and stick to a orderly schedule. But I usually stick to a schedule even if it isn't laid out on paper or digital font. I think for now, I will just stick to what I already have, my basic phone from delivering pizza.

Sunday, someone walks into the gas bar *ouch*. No, he comes in to buy a pack of number 7 KS smokes. These smokes cost 9.35 with tax, after telling him this he empties his pockets and dishes out 9.40 in DIMES! Anyways, after recounting the change, the man says "Only 2 days till my pay cheque! I had to steal this from my boy's piggy bank." Folks, if your desperate enough to steal from your own kid, just to buy your darn cigs, you need to quit, or at least try. I know it's hard to quit habbits like that, I still have a urge to buy too many games at one time.

Challenge!

YAY, a new section, those other ones kind of bottomed out, or fell a sleep trying to watch..From Dusk till Dawn being one. Alright, this is my first challenge, it's really just for me to stop being an idiot with my money, but anyone can join in. For one month, starting today, I won't buy anymore games. Hmm lacks substance, how about anything that would be new to my house. So, no more DVDs or games, or anything stupid to spend my money on. I will still rent movies from the Movie Factory though.

The Great Escape

So, I watched this with my family on Saturday night, and I thought by the end it was pretty dragged out. The movie is based on a book by Paul Brickhill, who wrote it after escaping from prisoner of war camp. Paul was the brains of the operation, they were commanded to keep as many German soldiers busy at the time of D-day. The bonus documentary says it was around 1 million German soldiers that they successfully deverted from the D-day operation. 76 people managed to escape the camp, later 61 were recaptured, and 50 were shot. This film was dedicated to their deaths. It was a great movie, the end seemed to drag on a bit, I give it a 8 out of 10.

mmm printer, copier, scanner

So, I worked at 8:30 this morning, off to a good start for this week. I looked at my schedule to find out I worked Monday, Tuesday at 12-5 and a 4 hour shift on Saturday. In total the week was 19 and a half hours (plus 8 hour shift at The Source). But it might be because he is trying to save a bit of money. I think the start of the year might have been rough for his wallet, so he started to work some of the hours himself. Anyways, that's my theory, I was going to complain about it when he asked me to basically run The Source for the week, giving me a total of around 36 hours. So, needless to say I was happy with the added hours.

I finally got off my butt and installed my PCS, all I need to do is find that printer cable I bought oh so long ago.

WAR, hu what is it good for? (He is only the dark side because he is Chilean and he gave me that coo' Darth Vadar penny bank... and plus the dark side is so much better.) But only the other hand Luke and Han and maybe Chewie, Steve being the happy wookie, want me to join their not so dark and errie side. Well, I have decided to join neither of your sides because war, even joke war results in bitter hatred, hateful glares and sore eyes. So... oh god, what am I saying, I sound like a 90's mother just finding out that her son's video game has mild violence in it. Because everybody who has played a video game is totally going to go out and find a car, kill a cop, take his gun and shoot everyone in the area. Too much?

Meh, I am still not joining anyone's side still, I prefer sitting on the sidelines and picking off who ever I feel like. When both of your forces are weakened I will nuke you all and claim victory! HAHA...with my pittiful 19 posts...that is including this one. I would promise to update more often, but I know I would just disappoint my loyal fans.

In other news, besides the constant bombardment around my blog, I have 3 holes in my front lawn because some people can't aim their bombs right. News! right, my cat has been recovering from his sprained ankle. He is now walking around on it, but you can still tell he favours it. Also, I have planned on buying a GPS for a few weeks now. I believe I will go all out on this one and get one that has a expansion slot for a small memory card. I believe it will come to around 400 bucks, so I might wait on it for a bit till I can find a good deal on it.

P.S. I have decided to get a bachelor honour degree in biology. This might take alot of work and effort. I hope I am up to the challenge of school life yet again. Sorry Pilon I won't be going to sound school with ya.

In other shocking news, my cat has been limping around for 2 days now. At first it was a small limp you know trying not to use it, but now he isn't even walking on it. Well, he is taking it pretty easy on himself, he has been lying beside the back door
for an easy exit. I hope he gets better soon.

I have decided to stop spending my money on so many pointless worldly needs. As that old saying goes, it's not what you have but what you give that counts. I was spending about 50 to 70 bucks on junk like movies and games that I would rarely play.
So, enough stupid spending, but I would like to point out that I'm going to look for a solid GPS. This, unlike wasting my money on games and such will actually get me out of the house to explore my environment like I away wanted to do. I know my brother has a decent one. It was around 250 for a bit of colour and more detailed maps, but he was telling me that he wishes he would have got a step up from his current one. This was the site I was looking at.

Untitled

What is clay without the hand that carves it's gentle slops and peaks? What is the mind without the ideas bobbling around inside of it? We are what we make ourselves to become. If we ignore the world around us, we become thoughtless drones only to follow our "free government" down to the inevitable grave it has been making since politics were invited. I believe it was around when the wheel broke, and so people started to argue how or why they should fix it. Long story short, they didn't, just like the saying goes if it's not broke don't fix it, but of cource the guy who said that was in a crowded room with many arguing gentlemen around him. So they only heard the latter part of his grand speech. Why he would say something like that when in fact the wheel was broken, was beyond me. The point, if there really was one to begin with, was that clay is as finely crafted as the hands that make it. And the mind is as confused as the ideas it has conjured up.

If we take everything at face value, the world would be a bland, tasteless place. The true satisfaction in this world is to imagine what the world could be like and start improving the vision everyday. If you don't like what you see, do something about it.

P.S. Yes, I was very bored. When the game froze and my monitor showed all these little white checkers all over the screen. So, thinking it was just my first freeze up on my new computer, I rebooted the little raskle and told it not to do it again. But before forgiving it completely it shoved a metaphorical dick up my ass. The checkers were still there and there was no way of entering back into windows. So, I took the monitor up stair to my other computer to check if it was just the monitor. But it worked fine, then I tried the upstairs monitor on my now dead computer. It was the same effect as last time, the checkers. So, I have a big feeling that it is something very gay to get fixed, like a video card. I e-mailed Best buy to see if the warrwenty still holds true and they will get back to me in 2-3 days, either way I believe I will have to return to Regina to get this beast fixed... anyone in?

P.S. If we see a plant growing, we ask ourselves why or a better question how it is growing because I am pretty sure the plant doesn't know why it is growing either. In reallity, it is just in the wrong place at the right time. The sun just happened to give it enegy, so the sun is really the criminal here. But back to my point, which I assume I had a sentence or two ago, is that humans need the answers to everything. If there is no obvious answer, we start to incorperate religious believes to help us cope with the fact that we don't have the answer to everything.

Science helps us understand more about our plant and what is around us. But fear is what makes us create these belief systems or go out and do stupid things. Like when everyone thought the world was going to end on January 1 2000. People were running to the stores to pick up anything that they thought would help them survive after the world was shut down. Just because a computer couldn't carry 4 digits a scare was released. We are a prisoner to our fears. That is why we have guns, homes and to a lesser extent a government. We must take a stand against our nature and start doing what is needed instead of concerning ourselves with what could happen. Our thoughts are always negative at first, but once our cowardice is out of the way humans could learn to work with each other not against, you would think over two thousand year would do it, but we still love seconds for our figurative second helping of hatred. As a new years resolution besides being 800 X 600, I would like everyone, the 2 to 4 of you, to try going against instinct and beat fear and self-pity in the face.

Alright now that that's out of the way I would like to continue with my resolutions.

1. Stop being such an idiot

I think the title says it all but for all you people who think I should work on my title making skills well this brief paragraph followed by 10 thinks I should try out new year is for you. Everyone else can leave for coffee break and meet me at the closing paragraph.

Alright, one think I really would like to do is stop worrying about the conciquences and just do it, so really my spokes person her is Nike, which in my opinion is a horrible spokesman for my blog. Either way, I put too much thought into what I want to do and get nothing done. Maybe it's just human nature that we all don't give a rats ass about anything, or maybe it is just me getting too comfortable doing nothing. I believe the corrent answer is the latter. I give excuses because I don't want to face what I should be up for the challenge for, I fear change in my life so I continue to eat the same stuff, believe in anything instead of searching for what is right and get less motivated everyday. So I must release myself of the shackles of normal everyday life and start to life the way I want to live it.

2. Loss weight

I know everyone usually has this on their to do list, but I really want to give this a try this year. I haven't been eating much like a ethusiastic vegetarian, I just ate what was easy to make, even when I had to time to cook a desent vegetarian meal. The rut of my everyday slack living may have given me a comfortable way to get by one day at a time, but I never variaty to help my body sustane it's self. I have been tired almost everyday of December even when I don't work I feel like shit, but that could be the junk food slowing my body down to an unhealthy state of living. So from now on I will change my diet to create a more suitable way of living, which means no more chocolate and less snacks of chips and popcorn for me. Also if I have time I will start running again to keep myself motivated.

And that is how I enslaved humanity in a simple 8 to 10 weeks...Oh I guess you missed my great story of world domination in one short paragraph, silly reader. Well, the time has come to wish all of you the best of luck in the new year. Please take the time to review your 2005 that has past, weep, especially for the deaths of Pope John Paul II, Johnny Carson, and Jack Keller, then move on to a new beginning of our future, for we at the ones who will change what the future is today, tomorrow.

A tremor in my head

This Saturday was Dave's Attack of the Saga movie night and like any "hardcore" Star Wars fans, we went to Regina to watch 14 hours of pure Star Wars glory on the big screen (It was on a projector borrowed from the Comp). The door prices were given out later in the night, and all three of us (Jared, Pilon and I) all tied scores, so it came down to a draw. I was picked first so naturally I picked the huge Darth Vadar coin bank which plays sound every time you drop a coin in or press the button. Pilon was drawn second and picked the radio script to Episode 4 and Jared got The new Rebllion book. Jason, being a more bashful Star Wars geek, took the Star Wars table cloth.. most likely because he needed it to spruse up his computer room table. After the last movie, I felt the attack of the headache, and I knew it was from the lack of fresh air and skipping dinner. So, Sunday was basically my hangover from the Star Wars binging, yes, I was heavily drinking Star Wars movies. So, long story short the weekend went well, and Dave should plan another gathering of extreme nerdrom.

I guess I could have opened with that instead of telling you the story, but they it would sound so out of place and this blog wouldn't be the recommended few paragraphs that I time to reach in every entire.

*(Very Pointless) Movie Review*

Well, on the car ride up to the Saga to end all Saga nights, Jared asked us what would be our list of the Saga from best to worst. In my opinion, I believe the list from best to worst goes like this:

1. The Empire Strikes Back - Hoth battle AND Lando? I mean really what can be better then that? To mean it was one of the better plot driven episode of them all. Connecting Luke and Darth Vadar at the end, with a great lightsabre fight I might add.

2. Return of the Jedi - The ultimate fight between Dark and Light, showing the unconditional love of Luke's father when he kills the Palpatine to save his son.

3. A New Hope - Trench run, Porkins died like a week ago, so Jared tells me. He was the X-wing pilot that can't pull up. RIP William Hootkins Oct.23/05 AKA Porkins

4. Revenge of the Jedi - Everything is great about this movie, it is the best of the prequels. As long as you ignore the scenes between Padme and Anakin it is a very good movie... and maybe the close up lightsabre fight at the end.

5. Attack of the Clone/ The Phantom Menace - I just don't know which movie is better, on one hand, AoC, the acting between "Annie" and Padme slowly starts to degrade. I don't blame the actors... maybe Hayden , but mostly George Lucas and Hayden. I love the pit battle and the first chase scene in the movie and that is about it.
The Phantom Menace has the lightsabre fight between Darth Maul and the two jedi's, and it introduced the battle droids and Droidicas, but it does have 2 annoying characters in it, that being Jar Jar and Anakin. But I can stand Jar Jar more then the average person, so sometimes he can be alright.

And there you have it, my very long, very pointless rant about how amazing the Star Wars trilogy is.. oops did I say trilogy HA HA silly me.

End Game

I AM CRAZY!!

Ok, so I have 58 minutes before my new job, and I can't sit still! I watched
the extras to Land of the Dead last night and found out how much I freakin' love George A Romera as I director! He has so many brillian ideas and can motivate others to portray his grand visions. I also found out, even if I should have known this before, that the star from Shaun of the Dead, Simon Pegg, and the director, Edgar Wright, were made up to be zombies in Land of the Dead. And George A. Romero told them how great their movie was. That would have been the best thing to hear from the guy who started the whole zombie invasion in 1968. Just amazing!

**Artist Cornered**

This is going to be a new section on my blog... just like that movie review section.. Boy, did that go down hill.. Anyways, this cornered artist is none other then Gregory Nicotero! He was born March. 15/ 1963 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. His first shot at the make-up Biz was on the set of Evil Dead 2. He also played the part of Ash's possessed hand and later was also part Army of Darkness crew in '93. Before Make-up he starred in Day of the Dead in '85 as Pvt. Johnson. But after all the zombie movies he went on to such films as Predator, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, Kill Bill series and Land of the Dead. (IMDB info) He is the guy who makes all the fake heads that explored and all the dumbs in general. I think he has done great work for all the make-up he has done, I mean just look at Land of the Dead and you will see.

Well, usually I end my blog with the movie/ artist review, but today I went to work in between writing this all. So, my job is working at the dollar store and tomorrow I will shift to The Source, which I think I will like a bit more. All the staff is so friendly, which is much different then being at T&C. Sue, the cook, was always mad at someone for not worked... which is most of the kitchen staff, but I think I will start to like this job when I get the hang of the cash register.

End Game

Phone call today, work tomorrow

So Derek from the dollar store phoned me and asked when I could work. Like any formerly unemployed person waiting to start his first shift (at 1:30 tomorrow), I'm
sitting here, updating my blog.. yep..

In other news, Land of the Dead is out on DVD! Yes, the latest of George A. Romero zombie infested world is now out on shelves at a store need you. Act now and you can get the remake of Dawn of the Dead with Land of the Dead for only 31.00. If only I didn't have it already have Dawn, I totally would bought them both...

**Movie Review**

I watched The Untouchables last night at Jared's, and damn it was amazingly captivating! I mean Jared's dad, Ron Durston, could not take his eyes off it. He would leave for a second and come back, again and again. But seriously, The Untouchables is a movie about the big prohibition of the 30's and Al Capone runs Chicago with an iron fist. The casting for this movie was perfect, I hear Kevin Costner has been in his share of crappy movies *cough* Waterworld *cough* but he is still a damn good actor! Sean Connery has his best role as Malone. Yes, I know he was Bond for 5 years, but to be honest I haven't seen any full Bond movies, I have seen bits of Goldeneye. Jeremy is most likely going to shoot me...

Until next time

What to do...what to do...

Well, yesterday I was out my resumes, there was only one job that seemed to be interested in hiring anyone, but the wait goes on. Today I was bored as hell so I started throwing random words into google and I found this site. It was all good, I drove up there... nearly killing us, but it was all good. We got went to the Southland, Value Village, and Futureshop. I only missed a few streets but other then that it wasn't bad.

After spending 2 hours to shop we all finalled a decision to go see The 40 Year Old Virgin at the Galaxy, but we were too late for the early show so we waited 2 hours for the 9:30. The arcade entertained us for a good hard hour of fun, that is until all of us spent our share of the 20 buckazoids worth of Tokens we bought.

So, wondering when the title comes into play? Well wonder no further! On Sunday, I gave my week notice after almost killing a kid on a bike. Let me explain, I was coming to a yield and slowing down to turn right, but I was speeding a bit and didn't stop ,seeing it was a yield, before where the crosswalk would be. The kid, blinded by the bushes on the right side of me, went straight into my licence.
He didn't fall off his bike and when asked he said he was alright so I continued on feeling sorry for the accident. I also quit because I'm a vegetarian, which I seemed to forget when I started making the very handsom wage I make.

so ya, now it is more like 3 days, 10 hours, 8 minutes because I had to deliver pizzas and eat dinner, but you get my drift....

*MOVIE REVIEW*

The 40 Year Old Virgin

10/10

By far one of the funniest movies I have seen all my life, and yes I have seen Anchorman... on DVD.... after everyone quoted it to death. So, maybe that is why I believe this movie was funnier. Great movie for all, rated 18A, and it will be the biggest gut workout you had in a good while, besides reaching under your seat to get your CD player faceplate that is...not that it is under mine *shifts eyes*

Kindness, it's in you to give

Well, I just finished my first week of working on call for T&C pizza. I have to say that I don't entirely like my job ,but there are always ups and downs to every job. Like for example, I was called to deliver a pizza to Greystone Manor Apt #308. If you know anything about Greystone Manor, you would know that it is composed of 5 apartment buildings! So, here I am with a large pizza and a drink as I walk from apartment building to apartment building searching for A) a phone B) the right apartment. I finally find someone home and they gladly let me use their phone. It turns out the guy lives in the brick apartments beside Greystone Manor! Oh right the address I didn't have, ha ha. So I run over the pizza with my car... go figure. A woman was just openning the main apartment door as I came, so she let me in. The guy who ordered it wasn't that steamed about it being pretty cold so I was "off the hook". When I walked down the hallway back to the stairs and the main door, who would be there but the woman who openned the door for me. She was helping her friend move what looked like an oddly shaped TV stand. So being the gentleman I am, I offered my help, and they gleefully accepted my help. We made it easily down the stairs and to a close van parked outside. They thanked me and I was off... to go back into the apartment and grab the drink tray and debit machine I dropped to help them... ya. So, in any case, a kind doings can be the diffenece between
a crappy delivery or an exciting ordeal.

Lucky for T&C, I was back before the next order...

In closing, I would like to point out that all the actors and actresses were played by real people in this skit, but real people still need to be treated like you would like to be treated. Please, have a nice day!

P.S. If this is the worst job, I can only get a better job... right?

My car...my job

Hey, well I finally got a job delivering pizzas for Town & Country. Yay, go me. The job isn't bad, but when your "reliable" car stops being so reliable.. well lets just say it makes the job a lot harder. "My first delivery." I thought as I jumped into my car with the pizzas to find out my car has overheated. So, my first two deliveries were in my boss's car then I was off for 10 minutes to pick up my dad's truck. After that the delivery went smooth...besides spilling a drink and getting the wrong address on a pizza. I even got to delivery a pizza to Mr. Glaspey himself! So, good times had by all, but I'm afraid if I don't get my car fixed I will have to quit this job and start over.

For those of you "want to be" mechanics, my car works fine untill you try to start it on a very warm day. It makes a slightly different noise when
it is too hot, but when it cools off it works fine again!? It could be a hose that expands from the heat letting air into the system or something more but ya that's
what it is doing when it is warm. On the plus side, I have my CD player installed in the car and it sounds amazing!

Vegan & Vegetarian

So today I started off thinking that I should do something about my interests. I started looking up bands that I listen to and found on the Audioslave site a link to a site called Axis of Justice. This non-profit organization was formed by Serj Tankian (System of the Down) and Tom Morello (Audio/Rage) to bring together musicians, and fans of musicians to fight for social justice. I thought this was a great operation, the site has a list of ways to jump into the fight for justice in your community, like the eduction section. It lists a bunch of movies, bands, books that support questioning authority and to educate your mind of the things happening around the world. After looking around this site, I started thinking about my rights as a Vegetarian and how I could make myself involved in my beliefs. I can't remember exactly how I stumpled upon it, but I came across PETA2. One of the first things I found on this site was the "Fish Are Friends, Not Food Week." which is June 26 to July 2. This was just one of many ideas that this site has to offer. If you didn't just close the pop-up, you would have seen that Goldfinger's link to his video. I thought I should become more invalved in my beliefs of not eating meat. I also decided to try being a vegan for as long as I can last, or this might be permanent.

Wow, thanx for the punch in the face!

Today was a great day! I woke up went to Grad Choir, got my tux, and "gave blood". Well, I didn't really give blood but I was there with Pilon and Steve.. more for support because of my high blood temperature. This could mean that my body was starting to fight off an infection, so they didn't take my blood, it was .1 over the threshold!
Anyways, the Grad Choir was great, Logan was there, which suprised me, but I was happy to have him with us. I went to Reality Bites and tried on my pants that they ordered in for me because my other pair were too short.
Now you are saying, Jonathan what exactly made this day so crappy? And I will say in one word "Tom". About 5 minutes ago, Tom and hisbrute of a friend came over here. I looked outside, seen the other guy eating a hamburger. Looked at Tom as he said "So, doesn't that hamburger look good?" with a smerk spread all across his face. I wanted to beat th shit out of him right there, butI calmed myself down as they left. I knew if I retaliates I would just be sinking down to his level of play, which nobody should be at.
I only called the one guy a brute because I can't remember his name, he was the guy moshing with us at sun stock... ya. So it goes to prove that Tom is only not a jerk for a day, then it is gone.
The END

Weekend, and end Period

I have decided to blog once again! *waits for applause to die down or for groans* I will start by highlighting that this weekend I tasted a few hours of work and will be dreading the summer mouths. I also want to say that I will miss all of those people leaving our dear village of Weyburn, God Bless.... and that is my next point.
Let me start on the morning of June. 11/2005. It was Saturday and I was just asked to help my dad shingle a shed on a rental property. As I walked out of the house, two Jehovah's Witnesses walk into my backyard. I made small talk to them and told them my mother was inside. (I was in a rush to help my dad) When arriving at the rental property I thought of what exactly do Jehovah's Witnesses believe in, which brings me to today (Sunday). I searched the internet for their believes and found this: http://www.carm.org/jw/nutshell.htm . After reading this, I realize how.... touchie faith can be. I read lines like this: "In other words, all of Christianity is false and only the Jehovah's Witness "theocratic" organization lead by several men in Brooklyn, New York, is true." and I instantly started thinking negitively about Jehovah's, but that has pasted. This is a no brainer but religious can be a good thing, with the bringing together of community and a bad thing, dividing of other religions. My faith is in a God, but other then that I am lost in a web of faith.

This is Drake saying: "Shake your bon bon, sir"... yes I hate saying that

Peace out

-Jon

Shirt Problems question mark

So, today was like any other Sunday, you know play computer, watch the TV while finding random crap on my shirt, eating veggie dogs for dinnerand doing the rest of my homework in english. Yep, just another crazy lazy day for Jonathan Paul Bauche. But wait! It doesn't end there... well it did after eating my veggie dogand when I shut off the TV, but I mean the unidentified stickie crap.. it just came back...you could say it is my topic. While watching TV, I touched myself, not there, on my shoulder youjerk off or... pervert, and to my suprise, I found white creamy shirt on my shirt. Some of you will say "but Jon I thought you said you weren't touching yourself." and I would say I wasn't but I did havea bowel of yogurt beside me which I ate before hand, so my conclusion of the white crap is that it is yogurt. So, like any other clean individual, I change my shirt and continue to watch TV. *OFF TOPIC* By the way I was watching Back to the Future II on VHS because I missed the end on TV last night due to my sleepiness. *TOPIC ON* After supper, I start to chat on MSN and what do I find on my shirt that isn't white and creamie? Yes, something that is stickie and brown!... like dried up glue. So, instead of taking my normal route of changing my shirt, I write a blog about it! Anyways this stuff is still sickie I better go change..... I also hate my computer, but that is another bloggerific story of mine to tell.

Peace out

Greener Earth

Well, you knew this was bound to happen, if someone cares for animals enough to stop eating them, they will also start thinking about how to help the earth. So, on my holidays I started to browse the internet to find out more about the earth we live on. One think I found out about was electric cars, I knew very little about how environmentally safe they are. One example I found was an electric car hybrid called the Prius. This car is considered to be a hybrid because it uses electricity for slower driving and gas for highway driving. The car can get 60 miles per gallon, instead of the average car's less then 20 miles per gallon.

That was my rant about cars, now onto paper! The world could reduce it's green house gasses by 36% if we converted toPWC (post-costumer waste) paper. This would cut down 2.2 million lbs of polution! Now thats alot of polution! Less polutionwould mean a cut down on health risks and diseases that surrounds polution. Deforestation is the number one cause for extinction, so if we re-use our paper we can safe endangered animals and keep those much needed trees that help us breath clean air.

*MOVIE REVIEW*
Yes, this will start to be a staple thing... that is if I get to see a movie between the time I write my blog. I just seen Sin City in Regina... without Mike, but he got to go to Mexico without Pilon and I. Anyways, This was a great movie. I loved the black and white film, it made it feel more like the comics. And it only used colour when it wanted to acent something, an example would be the Yellow Bastard's yellow face or dim light in the bars. The movie was close to the comics which they were based on. If you haven't read the comics, I advise you to "aquire" them before watching the movie. But even if you didn't read the comics it shouldn't hurt the viewing of the movie, it just enhances the watching.

9/10

Rebirth

To think that after writing a blog about hating EMO-nites, I myself startto feel depressed. I am such a hypocrite. Anyways, as all of you know I wasn'tgoing to go to the dance on Friday. This was because of my self-confidence actingup. I had no spine before the dance. Then I got there and thought to myself, self why are you so emo and depressed? (sorry I hear that all the time in Mr. Oberg's class)Anyways, I thought that I should give up, but then because of a few friendly dances. I started to feel more confident in myself and I didn't feel like the world was colapsing in on me.

I would like to devote this new paragraph to those who forced me to the dance, evenwhen it didn't look like I was going to go. That means you Steve, also to Lindsey and Sarah. You gave me much confidence in myself.... Yes, Steve you did too.
*END PARAGRAPH*

er... With my "new found" confidence intact, I walked down 3rd street when I heard a car come screeching down the street. I wont name names but I do have less respect for that person andtheir lack of control over their reckless driving. The driver wanted to quickly finish her papers at the expense of their safety and other's safety. Not to mention the amount of wasted gas and the pressure the car was feeling. (I know, you think cars don't feel, but you know what my meaning is.)

*MOVIE REVIEW*
Last week, my friends and I rented Saw which is about a murderer who goes around kidnapping people who don't appreciate the blessings in their life. The man never really murders anyone, but he placesthem in situations that make the victum kill themselves. This might sound very extreme, and I agree, but the message is there. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!
8/10

EMO!

Ok so maybe this blog is going to start like my old one, but at least I won't forget what my information is. Anyways, I was watching Hamlet in Mrs. King's class(I found out there are two paper clips and a rubber band on the ceilling) when Ithought how much I hate the EMO-core. I mean everyone was their day that sucks and suck...well almost everyone *cough* Mrs. King *cough* according to her it sounds like she has never been hurt in her life. Sorry venting my hatred towards Mrs. King day I guess.
On to the story, I have rotten days all the time. One of my friend ignores me, another one calls me gay (jokingly right?), my grades are dropping and a girl I liked doesn't like me back so what? The only way to change that is to change yourself and get back on the damn horse before I beat the EMO out of you... wait I guess you would complain about that too, wouldn't you? But to change you need to find a good support group that will accept your changes. Anyways, my point is EMO = queer or do people = shit? I can't remember so keep on trucking. Oh and chin up people.
